Investigation Into Measuring Redox Potentials in Wines

A modified pipette electrode is described that allows rigorous cleaning prior to redox measurements in wine and gives instantaneous drift-free values. A simple electrometer circuit is described that is highly stable and has a grid current well below that of which the cell can be polarized (10-12 amps ±). The necessary shielding of sample and electrode is described.
