Grapevine Propagation VII. the Wedge Graft—A Modified Notch Graft

The wedge is an improvement over the notch graft in being easier and faster to make. It requires less skill than the notch graft and can be done at a high level with a good take. Drying of the scion is the greatest problem in successful take of any graft at a high level.
